Join artist Emily Trentham for a demonstration of flax spinning and an introduction to the process of transforming plant fiber into thread by hand. Guests will have the opportunity to observe the process up close, ask questions, and try their hand at spinning.

Part of The Summer Tea House at Treats hosted by Kintsugi House, this drop-in event invites visitors to gather over tea, seasonal treats, and tea-based shaved ice while spending time in the gallery space during the opening week of the series. Tea service and community events are open to all ages. Donations to support the artist’s materials, time, and expertise are welcome.
